- Is online learning right for me?
Answer these survey questions to determine if you’d be a good candidate for online learning.
- Can I take ODIN courses for credit recovery?
Yes. Students taking ODIN courses for credit recovery must fulfill a seat time requirement but may receive all of the course content online.
- How do I enroll for an online course through ODIN?
You should discuss your enrollment with your school guidance counselor and parent to determine if an online course is appropriate for you. For enrollment information contact Diane Fedie at or call her at (952) 368-8850.
- Does taking a class through ODIN cost me anything?
No. When you register for an ODIN course your enrolling district will be billed. Students in private schools will be tuition billed at a rate of $475 per semester credit.
- Do ODIN courses meet Minnesota State Academic Standards?
Yes. Every online course must be aligned to Minnesota State Academic Standards.
- How many courses can I take at one time through ODIN?
It is recommended that you first try one course and see how you do. You are limited to two courses per semester without prior district approval.
- Can I take a course through ODIN if I am not a student in a member district?
Not at this time. ODIN is an online learning consortium set up to serve the students in
our member school districts.
- What courses do you offer?
ODIN courses are delivered using the PLATO system and a list of course offerings
can be found here.
- Why do I keep getting so many emails from my courses?
You can change your subscription settings in your profile. Got to Edit Profile-->Show Advanced and select your preferences. You can elect to view emails in digest form rather than getting an email per post. You can also have new posts highlighted for you by clicking on Forum Tracking.
